Village Day 2019

Village Day 2019 aims to build on the success of previous years' events, becoming  bigger and better and bringing the whole community together with old favourites and exciting new additions.

Basic detail

Village Day will be on Saturday 22nd June 2019 and will be located on the playing fields next to the Pavilion. Timings for the event will be as follows:

Setup 09:00 to 12:00

Start 12:00

Finish 17:00

Stall holders

We actively and positively encourage clubs and societies to take part in Village Day. It’s a great opportunity to raise awareness, increase membership and generate well needed funds.

Pitches are available on a first come first served basis, but must be booked in advance by contacting us.  Pitch fees are non-refundable, (unless the event is cancelled), hence a discount for payment in advance.  NAG Social reserves the right to review the type of stall, and therefore pitch fee.

Pitch location

The event will be located at the New Ash Green sports pavilion and playing fields, Punch Croft, New Ash Green, Longfield, DA3 8HS, and the field is accessed via the Pavilion car park.  Further location and venue details can be found on the New Ash Green Sports Pavilion Facebook Page.

Each pitch is roughly 3m x 3m, (size of a normal gazebo) and it is possible to request multiple pitches.  The layout of Village Day 2019 may be slightly different to previous years in order to accommodate other activities.  We will seek to meet your preferences but this cannot be guaranteed.

Please note that we are not able to provide gazebos, tables, chairs, electricity or water etc.  Pitch holders will need to bring their own or make their own arrangements.

Food hygiene/certification

There is no requirement for food hygiene certification for volunteer groups at community events. The food standards agency usefully describes a requirement for a level of common sense and general hygiene.  Please visit the Food Standards Agency website for food hygiene guidance. Any stall retailing food products as part of their business must display the relevant food hygiene certificate and have in place public liability insurance if relevant.  A copy of these should be provided with the pitch booking form.

Any enquiries regarding this event should be directed to the Nag Social event team at
